This is a silly and funny way at looking at what art is to me .. Disclaimer-some four letter words

Once in a while other “designers” will complain about how something like the graphic i posted above is boring .. was Klimt boring ? Heck No .. the guy was kind of into gold leaf or whatever ( a lot of gold in hes paintings).. hes most famous work was the Kiss .. very beautiful and awesome.

But art is suppose to be someones own vision or idea . Sometimes all the fancy people in the world think just because you took that “art” class in college you are allowed to complain .. NOPE not in my eyes …

you are allowed to complain when you actually take out that damn glue gun and burn your fingers and yell out ” mother fucker…”… art or being ” crafty” is very ” hipster-ish .. do i follow into the hipster life style . heck no !( sorry for the cussing .. but you what i mean right .. oh i hope so ).. am like Daria or Emily strange only in a chicana form but

Sometimes it makes me scratch my head and say Look dude your over thinking it ( dont you like i how i added my Californian slag into it ).

in other words dont make me ” go frida kahlo on your ass” cause i can and watch me lol.

I know what your thinking .. But Gabbie your a designer your self …your saying you dont follow the rules .. Um no and heres why
Most of the people who follow these rules end up being sell outs. They follow what sells and in the process end up killing them selfs as designers. Art or in this case web and graphic design isnt about looking pretty its about jumping out of the rules and saying ” Its on” .
